Lewis Goodwin

Lewis Goodwin is a Partner in our Corporate team. Since joining in 2017, he has drawn on over a decade of post-qualification experience in corporate and commercial law, having qualified as a Solicitor in 2005.

Clients turn to Lewis for advice on a wide range of matters, from mergers and acquisitions, private equity and joint ventures to banking, franchising, employee share schemes and commercial agreements. His practice also covers shareholder and partnership arrangements, agency and distribution contracts, with a particular focus on sports law.

His client base spans sectors such as leisure, logistics, digital media, industrial asset management, sport and entertainment, and the charitable sector. Recent work includes advising on a joint venture to commercialise fire and incident management technology, securing a multi-million-pound development facility for a regional hotel, and negotiating national sponsorship deals in sport.

Lewis has also served as lead adviser to the Premier League and the Premier League Charitable Fund. Recognition in The Legal 500 highlights his “excellent appetite for work and attention to detail.”
