Ian Scobbie is a Senior Associate Solicitorand leads our Insolvency team. Since joining in 2010, he has drawn on more than 25 years of post-qualification experience to advise on insolvency, restructuring and corporate recovery matters.

A key area of Ian’s practice is the sports sector, where he is recognised for his work with football clubs on insolvency and restructuring issues. His experience includes serving as Chairman of Scarborough Football Club and acting as a non-executive Director on the Board of Hartlepool United. Strong industry knowledge and local insight have earned him a respected reputation across Yorkshire and the North East.
