Ian Errington

Ian Errington is a Partner and Head of our Landlord Financing & Conveyancing team. He qualified as a Solicitor in 1994 and joined Blacks in 2016, bringing decades of experience in both residential and financing property.

Throughout his career, Ian has advised owner-occupiers, residential and retail developers, regional businesses and FTSE 100 housebuilders. His current focus is on driving the national expansion of our Residential Conveyancing team, particularly in the Buy to Let and bridging finance sectors He regularly advises specialist lenders and landlords on purchases, refinancing and portfolio transactions.

Ian is known for a straight-talking, no-nonsense approach and is committed to delivering clear, practical advice and pushing deals through with speed and efficiency. His client-first mindset has earned praise in The Legal 500, where he is described as “excellent at dealing with clients.”
