Leon Cordero

Leon Cordero is a Solicitor in our Corporate team, bringing experience across corporate law, employment, dispute resolution and property.

Before starting his legal career, Leon worked as an IT technician from 2018 to 2020. This gave him a strong technical background and an understanding of technology that continues to shape his approach, particularly when legal and digital issues come together.

Leon began his legal career in residential property in 2020 and joined us in July 2022. He progressed to Conveyancer, handling Buy to Let refinancing for individuals, companies and specialist lenders across freehold and leasehold properties.

‍

In September 2024, Leon started his training contract with seats in Employment and Commercial Dispute Resolution, followed by a double seat in Corporate. During his training, he advised employers and employees on settlement agreements, disciplinary matters and tribunal claims. He also supported clients and colleagues with high value litigation and a wide range of commercial disputes. In his Corporate seat, Leon assisted on both share and asset purchase deals where he managed virtual data rooms, coordinated vendor due diligence processes, and acted as a point of contact for clients and counterparties on high value transactions.

Now qualified in our Corporate team, Leon draws on experience from across several areas of law, alongside his technical background, to bring a broad perspective to his work.

Leon holds a First Class Honours degree in Law from the University of Huddersfield and completed his LLM Legal Practice Course with Commendation at Leeds Beckett University.
