Hugh Rae is a Conveyancer in our Landlord Financing & Conveyancing team, bringing over 20 years of experience in the conveyancing sector. Since joining in 2017, he has developed a strong focus on the Buy to Let market, supporting a broad client base and providing guidance across the team.

Acting for both individuals and companies with varied portfolio sizes, Hugh also works closely with Buy to Let lenders on complex purchases and refinancing matters. His role includes offering technical support to colleagues, ensuring consistency, accuracy and a high standard of service across all Buy to Let cases.

Prior to joining Blacks, Hugh built his expertise at several law firms throughout Yorkshire, gaining experience across the full range of residential property transactions. Known for a practical and detail-driven approach, he is a trusted source of advice for clients and colleagues navigating complex conveyancing matters.
