Harriet Butterfield

Harriet Butterfield is a practicing Barrister with over 20 years of experience and joined Blacks in 2023 where she is a Consultant.

She began her career in private practice at the criminal Bar before transitioning to an in-house role, where she has spent over 15 years advising and representing a diverse range of clients in the construction and engineering, energy, and utilities sectors. Her work spans the full spectrum of transactional and contentious matters. In the construction sector, she advises funders, employers, and contractor organisations across the residential, commercial, and infrastructure industries.

When required, she has represented numerous clients in various forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), including mediation, adjudication, and arbitration.
