Blacks named the most recommended law firm in Yorkshire by Legal 500

Blacks Solicitors LLP has been named the most recommended law firm in Yorkshire by Legal 500, topping new rankings drawn from more than 9,000 client responses across the region.

The independent firm claimed first place ahead of Addleshaw Goddard, Irwin Mitchell, Pinsent Masons, Walker Morris and Freeths - a result that underlines the strength of client advocacy for Blacks in one of the UK's most competitive legal markets.

The results are drawn from the Legal 500's annual research programme, which asks law firm clients a single question: "On a scale of 0-10, how likely are you to recommend this firm?" The responses are used to calculate a Net Promoter Score for each firm, a widely used measure of client satisfaction, allowing firms to be benchmarked against each other.

The accolade comes in a momentous 12 months for Blacks. The firm recently announced its most successful financial year on record, with turnover surpassing £22.9 million, alongside the launch of a refreshed brand identity built around the strapline "Legal expertise. Human inspiration." and the expansion of its Leeds headquarters at 29 King Street.

More than a third of the firm's clients are retained through repeat instructions, and over the past year Blacks has supported a nationwide client base including major brands such as Amnesty International, Morrisons and Harmony Energy.
