Sam Bell qualified as a Solicitor in 2013 and joined Blacks Solicitors in 2018 specialising in Property Disputes.
Sam has been dealing with property related legal disputes for over five years, acting on behalf of landowners, developers, landlords and tenants, and has particular experience of working within the retail sector.
Sam deals with both commercial and residential property for individuals and corporate clients. Her areas of expertise include adverse possession, boundary disputes, protecting and enforcing property interests and issues involving rights of way and restrictive covenants.
Sam has worked on a number of complex development disputes, including high value arbitrations and expert determinations and regularly deals with matters in the courts and tribunals. Sam has a breadth of experience in defending landowner rights and was involved in a successful Court of Appeal claim regarding a tenant’s right under a lease to remove fixtures, has sought an injunction from the High Court and successfully defended land at Public Inquiry from being registered as a Town and Village Green.
Sam also understands that clients want a cost effective way to reach their objective and can advise on risk management and alternative dispute resolution, such as mediation.
Sam is a member of the Property Litigation Association.
