Rachael Donnelly qualified as a Solicitor in 2009 and joined Blacks Solicitors in 2017, where she is currently an Associate Solicitor in the Property Disputes team.
Rachael has nine years’ experience of dealing with land and property-based issues, and regularly acts on behalf of landowners, developers, receivers, utility companies, landlords, and tenants.
She also has experience of dealing with matters involving both residential and commercial property, individuals, and corporate clients. Her work includes: business tenancy renewals; landlord and tenant disputes (including service charge and dilapidations claims); possession actions; trespass and nuisance claims; boundary disputes; and issues involving easement, restrictive covenants and wayleaves.
Rachael works closely with her property colleagues advising on large transactions which require specialist litigation input. She focuses on understanding clients’ objectives and provides commercial advice to clients looking to protect or maximise their investment in their property or land.
Rachael is an experienced litigator and is comfortable handling Court and Tribunal actions on behalf of her clients. However, she is well aware of the constraints and costs associated with formal Court proceedings and regularly provides advice on risk management and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
Rachael is recommended by The Legal 500 for business tenancy renewals, landlord and tenant disputes, possession actions, trespass claims and boundary disputes.
