
Clare Castillo joined Blacks Solicitors in 2020 as a Chartered Legal Executive in the Property Disputes team.
Prior to joining Blacks, Clare gained almost four years’ experience as part of an established property litigation team of another Yorkshire-based firm.
Clare has a degree in Law and European Law from the University of Bristol and a Masters in International Trade and Investment Law from the University of Heidelberg, Germany (with Distinction). She also speaks fluent Spanish having lived in South America for 9 years and previously worked as a legal translator and Government policy advisor.
Clare works on a broad range of contentious property matters with a specialism in residential landlord and tenant matters.
Her experience includes: commercial and residential possession claims; landlord and tenant disputes; business tenancy renewals; break notices; licensed premises; and land disputes involving restrictive covenants, adverse possession, easements, trespass, boundaries and party walls.
