One of our main objectives is to recruit trainee solicitors and
retain you on qualification; organic growth is the backbone of the Firm.
We have retained a considerable proportion of our trainee intake in recent
years and look to continue that trend. Growth from within is very much a
priority. Indeed, a number of our current partners originally joined the firm
as trainee solicitors.
We typically recruit three trainees each year with training contracts
commencing on 1 September every year.
You must have a strong academic record, high standards and a strong work ethic.
You should be a great communicator and show common sense. We require you to
have achieved 340 UCAS points (AAB) or the Tariff equivalent from your best
three A-Levels, together with a strong 2:1. If you have undertaken the GDL or LPC
we require you to have achieved a commendation or above.
You need to be enthusiastic,
committed and have the ability to use your initiative. A sense of humour is
If selected for a training contract you will spend two years working in four
different areas of law. You will receive a high level of training in each
discipline, whilst experiencing considerable client contact.
